Favourite Worst Nightmare

As the second studio album for the Arctic Monkeys, Favourite Worst Nightmare was recorded in east London’s Miloco Studios with producers James Ford and Mike Crossey--and upon its release was immediately well-received. It stood out in stark contrast to their debut album, in that the group”s sound was far faster and louder than before. The record itself embodies a more seasoned and worldly perspective that reflects the attitudes of the band members themselves; put simply, it’s got more of a bite to it. Lead vocalist Alex Turner doesn’t hold back, allowing his vocals to take center stage with his clear intonation and control.
