Description

Blvck Svm, the rap moniker of Ben Glover, finds influence by his upbringing in Florida and his admiration for rappers like Valee, Lil Wayne, and MF DOOM.

Following the success of his breakout single “bleach,” which currently boasts nearly 16 million listens, the Chicago-based artist connected with California producer Pilotkid through YouTube.

Together, the duo recorded music over the course of two weeks, ultimately becoming the album jetsvm, where Blvck Svm explores the complexities of capitalism and materialism while maintaining his integrity as an artist, sharing, “There’s an infinite amount of things I can do to make my music sound different from what it is now while retaining the essence of what makes me, me. Having that conviction to stand ten toes on what I feel in music and in life and how that intersects with my music is more important than anything.”
