In 2005, Rostam Batmanglij (co-founder and producer of Vampire Weekend) and Wes Miles (lead vocalist of Ra Ra Riot) began the collaborative electronic project that would become known as Discovery. The two released the group's debut and only album in 2009, titled LP. The record features vocal contributions from Angel Deradoorian (Dirty Projectors) and Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend).
Limited to 500 copies, the VMP exclusive edition of Discovery's LP is pressed on 1LP Opaque Pink vinyl at New Orleans Record Press and will arrive in a single direct-to-board, foil stamped and numbered jacket. It's mastered by Emily Lazar, Joe LaPorta and Nilesh Patel of The Lodge.
