The multi-national, Chicago-based band Divino Niño make their return to music with their first album in three years, Last Spa on Earth. The album marks a new era for their music, where the band explores sounds across reggaeton, electropop and trap.
While on tour with Crumb, Divino Niño's Pierce Codina shared about their newfound perspective that helped mold the album, “When you're in front of big audiences, you see what works and what hits people rhythmically. We started pushing the tempo live, having more energy and getting into a more dancey arena. Seeing people dance shifted our mindset – we became a little bit bored with playing mid-tempo indie songs.”
Limited to 600 copies, the VMP exclusive edition of Divino Niño's Last Spa on Earth is pressed on 1LP Hellfire Swirl vinyl at Gotta Groove Records. The record will arrive in a gatefold direct-to-board, foil stamped and hand numbered jacket along with a download code, and includes 22.75x33" foldout newsprint poster designed by band member Camilo Medina. The album is mastered by Chris Gehringer of Sterling Sound.
