Why you'll love it...

Former VMP Essentials and New Orleans funk band The Meters released their 1975 sixth studio album, Fire on the Bayou as a direct follow up to Rejuvenation, VMP's December 2021 Essentials Record of the Month. Fire on the Bayou is the band's first album that features Cyrill Neville as a member. The record includes a number of The Meters' hits, including "Out In The Country," the album's titular song, "They All Ask'd For You" and more.

This VMP exclusive reissue of The Meters' Fire on the Bayou is pressed on 180g Aqua Blue Galaxy vinyl at GZ and will arrive in a single tip-on, foil stamped and numbered, matte finish jacket. It's a AAA reissue with lacquers cut from the original master tapes by Ryan Smith of Sterling Sound.
