As Helen Ballentine, known by her moniker as Skullcrusher, started Quiet the Room two years ago, the sounds of the album began on the piano, an instrument she played as a child. From there, visions of her childhood and the house she grew up began flocking her mind and formed the structure of the album. Quiet the Room touches on not just the simplicities of youth, but rather the complexities of it not frequently spoken about, resulting in a moving work that deals with self-reflection.
Limited to 500 copies, the VMP exclusive edition of Skullcrusher's Quiet the Room is pressed on 1LP Opaque Red vinyl at Independent Record Pressing. It will arrive in a gatefold direct-to-board, foil stamped and hand numbered jacket.
