Toronto indie-pop artist MorMor's debut full length album, Semblance, was recorded largely during the lonely lockdown days of the pandemic. His distinctive voice—a svelte tenor that sits comfortably higher in pitch—leaps out of the speakers, over layers of bass lines, guitar riffs, and drums, the latter of which he learned to play over the course of making the album. The album pursues truths about love, growth, and what happens when we stop trying to avoid ourselves.
Limited to 500 copies, the VMP exclusive edition of MorMor's Semblance is pressed on Cloudy White vinyl at GZ Vinyl. The 1LP will arrive in a single, tip-on, foil-stamped and numbered jacket and includes a poster.
