Back to the Woodlands is a collection of archived recordings by Ernest Hood, jazz guitarist and ambient pioneer, recorded around the same period Hood's celebrated Neighbors was recorded and released. Along with the release of the track ‘’Bedroom of the Absent Child'' Freedom to Spend and Hood's Estate have also shared a new music video for the Back to the Woodlands song, directed by Contagious Yawns, the video features grainy shots of various landscapes with ghostly cars and figures fading in and out of frame.
