It has long been overdue that Nigerian synth-funk legend Dizzy K. gets the reissue he deserves. Having evaded the reissuing world for some time he decided to team up with London based record label Sticky Buttons for a very special double LP compilation.
Dizzy K. Falola is one of Nigeria's most adored synth-funk artists from the early 80's. His career saw him produce 6 albums across the decade with his first, Excuse Me Baby, released in 1982 infecting the streets and nightclubs of Lagos. His hypnotic and joyful phrases laid over unique and original grooves were a recipe for success that brought a fresh voice to the Nigerian Boogie scene.
