frenemy, the latest release from veterans of the New York underground scene altopalo, includes the band's first outside feature from Bartees Strange as well as contribution from Dora Jar. It is a frank portrait of a band reckoning with their own fragilities for the sake of moving forward. Best friends for over ten years, this album dives into their relationships with each other and the strains and hurt that comes with a bond that is more like a brotherhood. 
Limited to 500 copies, the VMP exclusive version of altopalo's frenemy is pressed on Purple Galaxy vinyl at GZ Vinyl. The 1LP will arrive in a double gatefold, direct-to-board, foil-stamped and numbered jacket.
