Kronos Quartet Performs Philip Glass includes landmark pieces including No. 2, aka 'Company' and No. 3, from the 1985 film score for Mishima. Glass is quoted, "I was thinking that I had really gone beyond the need to write a serious string quartet and that I could write a quartet that is about musicality, which in a certain way is the most serious subject."
Limited to 1500 copies, the VMP exclusive version of Kronos Quartet Performs Philip Glass is pressed on Opaque Blue vinyl at Record Industry. The 2LPs will arrive in a widespine, direct-to-board and numbered jacket. It was mastered by Craig Silvey at Soundbyte, New York, New York.
