Michael Collins (formerly Run DMT, Salvia Plath) started his musical journey in 2009, experimenting with the edges of sound under different monikors before landing with and leading the project now known as Drugdealer in 2013. Leaving behind his experimental music, he opted to create music with structure and understand how to write it from a traditional perspective. The results appeared as The End of Comedy.
The album is visited by collaborators like Ariel Pink, Danny James, Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood and plenty more.
