Originating from Oklahoma, Turnpike Troubadours kicked off their careers playing in dancehalls and honky tonks, drawing inspiration from these very places for their music. Described as having music that sits at the intersection of Woody Guthrie and Waylon Jennings along with influences from bluegrass, rock and Cajun, the country band's sophomore album, Diamonds & Gasoline, produced by Mike McClure, highlights the fusions of genres.
Limited to 1,500 copies, the VMP exclusive edition of Turnpike Troubadours' Diamonds & Gasoline is pressed on 2LP Metallic Gold vinyl at Gotta Groove Records. The record will arrive in a gatefold direct-to-board, foil stamped and numbered jacket.
