Here are a few facts about DIIV: 1. They are named after the Nirvana song “Dive” and their name was originally spelled that way. 2. Every band member’s astrological sign is water-related 3. They later changed the spelling to DIIV out of respect for a 90’s Belgian industrial group called Dive. So, a lot of diving and water over here but thankfully also a ton of great music as well. 2012’s Oshin was what you might call a “really great record” and their latest effort is, dare we say, even better.
