After returning to his home in Rio in 1980 following a stint in Los Angeles, Marcos Valle began writing and recording his divine self-titled album. While in Los Angeles, Valle met Leon Ware, who would eventually come to lend his skills on the album on songs like the prominent title "Estrelar" and more. Marcos Valle is a 10-track album that shimmers with influences from funk while remaining distinctly rooted in Latin.
