The 1977 album features saxophonist Charles Owens, trombonist Al Hall, Jr., and guitarist Kenneth Climax, along with West Coast jazz stalwarts like percussionist Sonship and pianist Dwight Dickerson.
Limited to 500 copies, the VMP exclusive version of Henry Franklin's Tribal Dance is pressed on Opaque Red vinyl at Gotta Groove Records. The 1LP will arrive in a gatefold, direct-to-board, foil-stamped and numbered jacket.
