Another Strawberry Rain’s essential Zamrock reissue – this is Blackfoot’s debut album, originally released on the private Goodson Records label under the title Youth Power, and later picked up by Zambia Music Parlour (ZMPL) and put out under the title Millie. Primitive and raw garage rock from Zambia, loaded with catchy songwriting that will stay in your memory long after listening, reminiscent of early WITCH.
Restored from the original master reels, this is the first in Strawberry Rain’s ZMPL LEGACY SERIES, a celebration of the most prolific label in Zambia.
